The Role
As a Merchandise Planner for UGG, you’ll be responsible for developing and executing financial plans that maximize sales, profitability, and inventory turn for assigned categories in UGG eCommerce and UGG Concept Stores. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally to connect top-down and bottom-up planning, analyze trends, and ensure alignment with business goals. Your expertise will help drive strategic decisions and optimize inventory across channels.

The Role

Your Impact
- Create class and style-color level plans by channel, connecting top-down and bottom-up planning
- Develop strategic weekly, monthly, and seasonal sales plans, incorporating GTM strategy
- Analyze historical data and current trends to identify risks and opportunities
- Oversee style-color level sales and buy plans, ensuring alignment between top-down and bottom-up plans
- Build partnerships with Merchants and collaborate to influence assortment strategies
- Present class and style level plans in Investment Review for UGG eCommerce and Concept Stores
- Build regular price and markdown plans based on flow calendar and product strategies
- Partner with DTC Demand Planning to secure product by market and month, influencing sizing
- Participate in buy review conversations with Wholesale and Supply Planning
- Manage Open-to-Buy forecasting and reforecasting, ensuring optimal inventory position
- Collaborate with Allocation, Field, and Omni Team to maximize inventory across channels
- Mentor junior team members and support an innovative, results-oriented environment
- Bachelor’s Degree or related work experience
- 2-4+ years of merchandise planning, inventory management, buying, or finance in a retail environment
- 1 year of supervisory experience preferred
- Forecasting experience preferred
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate
- Strong statistical analysis and communication skills
- Curious, flexible, action-oriented, and forward-looking problem solver
- Positive attitude, responsible approach, and a self-starter
- Strong interest in forecasting, operations, and/or product
- Advanced in Excel; systems savvy; familiarity with Oracle and Tableau preferred
- Able to develop and maintain strong working relationships with peers and cross-functional teams
- Strong knowledge of merchandise planning and retail math, with ability to mentor junior team members
