About the Client
Our client is a leading sport and lifestyle communications agency working with major global brands, destinations, and high-profile events. They specialise in creating stories, campaigns, and experiences that connect brands with audiences across digital, social, and traditional media.
Their media and communications team is expanding, and they’re now looking for a Media Buying Manager to take ownership of paid activity and help elevate integrated campaigns across a diverse range of projects.
The Role
As the Media Buying Manager, you’ll plan, buy, and optimise paid media campaigns across Meta, Google, YouTube, and relevant publishers. You’ll collaborate closely with PR, content, and creative teams to deliver campaigns that drive reach, engagement, and meaningful results.
You should be confident with day-to-day optimisation, reporting, and data interpretation, and comfortable looking for new ways to improve performance and efficiency.
What You’ll Do
- Plan and deliver high-performing paid media campaigns across digital platforms.
- Manage ad buys with Meta, Google, YouTube, and sector-specific publishers.
- Continuously optimise campaigns to improve ROI and effectiveness.
- Align paid activity with PR, creative, and content teams to support integrated campaigns.
- Build strong media relationships with relevant partners and publishers.
- Track spend, analyse performance, and produce clear reports and insights.
- Stay up to date with digital media trends, platform developments, and audience behaviour.
What We’re Looking For
- At least 2–3 years’ experience in media planning or media buying (agency or brand side).
- Strong understanding of digital platforms and analytics.
- Confident communicator with strong organisational skills.
- Detail-driven, proactive, and collaborative.
- Comfortable managing multiple campaigns and deadlines.
- A genuine interest in sport is essential
