Job Description
Our professional services client is seeking an Interim Marketing Director to support the Financial Services sector of the business. This is a fully remote role at 20 to 25 hours per week. The work is primarily focused on local market campaign execution (about 90 percent), with roughly 10 percent supporting global initiatives.
This position requires a data driven marketing leader who can set strategy while also guiding a team through execution.
The ideal candidate is analytical, proactive, comfortable with ambiguity, and able to ground recommendations in business fundamentals. This person will play a key role in shaping content strategy, building go to market programs, and ensuring campaigns are measurable and results oriented.
Responsibilities
- Develop marketing strategies and plans for the Financial Services sector and its sub segments.
- Build omni channel marketing campaigns using digital tactics to drive engagement and lead generation.
- Partner with business leaders to shape a content strategy and deliver high quality content assets.
- Create campaign assets, templates, and tools that support execution across markets.
- Work with regional marketing teams to package and activate sector campaigns for revenue generation.
- Collaborate with sector leadership and cross functional groups to align on priorities and build coordinated marketing plans.
- Incorporate sector insights, market trends, and key account strategies into broader marketing plans.
- Create tools that help internal teams engage clients with clear and relevant value propositions.
- Establish a test and learn approach, building programs that can first be piloted locally and then scaled globally.
- Build detailed plans, timelines, and milestones to maintain visibility and alignment across stakeholders.
- Craft messaging, value propositions, and sales enablement materials that support go to market efforts.
- Use both qualitative and quantitative data to evaluate program performance and share insights across teams.
- Identify risks to the go to market strategy and develop mitigation plans.
Requirements
- Approximately 20 years of B2B services marketing experience. Professional services and financial services experience strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to design and execute effective programs, campaigns, and initiatives.
- Strong leadership abilities with comfort navigating change and transformation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems such as Salesforce.
