Our client is looking for an IT Operations Engineer to support and enhance their IT infrastructure, cloud services, and daily operational needs. The role focuses on maintaining system reliability, resolving technical issues, and reinforcing security across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, including performance and outage diagnostics.
Provide daily IT support, manage incidents, and assist end users.
Deploy and maintain servers, endpoints, mobile devices, and peripherals.
Manage Azure AD/Entra ID identities and Microsoft 365 services (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive).
Oversee software licensing, asset tracking, backups, patching, and endpoint protection.
Support networking basics (VLANs, WAN, Wi-Fi, fibre) and assist with connectivity/cabling.
Maintain documentation, ticketing systems, and remote access tools.
Contribute to cybersecurity initiatives, access controls, and user-awareness programs.

Required Skills

3+ years in IT Operations, System Administration, or a similar role.
Strong knowledge of Windows systems, networking fundamentals, and firewalls.
Experience troubleshooting in mixed environments (Windows/MacOS/Linux).
Clear communication skills and a proactive, independent work approach.

Nice to Have

Scripting/automation (PowerShell, Power BI).
Knowledge of compliance, conditional access, and zero-trust principles.
Familiarity with endpoint protection and behavioural monitoring tools.
