Role Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Investment Analyst to support equity research and investment idea generation across public markets. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys deep fundamental analysis, financial modelling, and turning data into clear investment insights. You will work closely with the research team to analyze companies, build valuation models, track markets, and contribute to investment reports shared with subscribers. This is a full-time remote role for an Investment Analyst Intern. The role also involves preparing reports and presentations, conducting market research, and collaborating with team members to identify and evaluate investment opportunities. The individual will support the broader team to ensure efficient and effective execution of investment strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct fundamental equity research on publicly listed companies
Build and maintain financial models (DCF, comparable company analysis, sensitivity analysis)
Analyze financial statements, earnings reports, investor presentations, and industry data
Prepare investment notes, stock pitches, and research reports
Track macroeconomic trends, sector developments, and company-specific news
Assist in monitoring existing investment ideas and updating valuations
Support content creation for research publications and investor communication
Maintain high standards of data accuracy, documentation, and compliance awareness

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
Experience in equity research, investment analysis, corporate finance, or valuation
Strong understanding of financial statements and valuation methodologies
Advanced proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets
Experience with financial databases (Bloomberg, Capital IQ, FactSet, or similar) is an asset
Progress toward or completion of CFA designation is strongly preferred
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills
Ability to simplify complex financial information into clear insights
Excellent written communication and presentation skills
High attention to detail and structured thinking
Curiosity about markets, businesses, and investing frameworks
Ethical mindset and respect for confidentiality
