Overview:

A leading biopharmaceutical company is replacing its legacy Oracle system with a new SAP platform and is seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to support the training rollout. This role will focus heavily on developing Enable Now simulations to guide users through technical workflows, with possible contributions to instructor-led training as well. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong technical training experience, who can navigate change, work independently, and build effective relationships with SMEs and project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop eLearning simulations using SAP Enable Now to support the new SAP system rollout
Assist with ILT and vILT materials as needed for various SAP workflows
Collaborate with SMEs and fellow instructional designers to gather, validate, and structure content
Translate complex technical processes into clear, learner-friendly training experiences
Continuously revise content in response to system updates and process changes
Apply adult learning principles and modern instructional design methodologies
Build strong, proactive working relationships with SMEs and business leads

Required Skills & Experience:

Extensive experience designing and delivering technical training for SAP or similar enterprise platforms
Expert-level proficiency in SAP Enable Now and Articulate Rise
Strong grasp of Instructional Design principles and adult learning theory
Demonstrated ability to thrive in dynamic, fast-paced project environments
Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
Proactive, assertive, and capable of working with limited direction

Additional Information:

Training content is partially developed but subject to frequent updates
Consultant will conduct SME interviews and collaborate with other instructional designers to gather information
Client will provide necessary tools, software, and laptop
No specific policies regarding AI tool use at this time

Duration: through December 31, 2025
