Role Description

This is a full-time, remote role for an Independent Technical Sales Engineer specializing in Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS). The role involves engaging with prospective and existing clients to understand their technical and production needs, providing in-depth technical support, and delivering presentations on Starz Electronics’ offerings. Key responsibilities include identifying business opportunities, preparing proposals, assisting with troubleshooting, and collaborating with the design team to address client requirements. The role also demands conducting market research and staying informed on industry trends to effectively align solutions with client demands.

Qualifications

  • Strong Analytical Skills for evaluating customer needs and proposing tailored technical solutions
  • Excellent Communication skills, including presenting complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience in Technical Support and Troubleshooting within the electronics manufacturing or related industries
  • Proficient in Research to identify market trends and opportunities
  • Familiarity with EMS processes, PCB assemblies, and Lithium-Ion battery technologies is highly desirable
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and drive business growth remotely
  • Educational background in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field preferred
  • Prior sales or customer engagement experience in a technical field is a plus
