Human Resources Information System Analyst
Job Summary
We are looking for a HRIS Analyst/Dayforce Guru to join our Client's HR team. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and security of our HR data, as well as providing reports and insights. Collaborating with HR and IT to optimize the functionality and user experience of our HRIS platform and with Microsoft Power BI. You will improve and maintain our HRIS systems and processes, create and maintain analytics, and update procedures and policies relating to the HRIS system.
What You'll be Doing
- HRIS Champion: Support Dayforce HRIS custom forms, workflows, and user role security changes. Your expertise will keep our systems running smoothly. Support and act as internal consultant to HR leadership and business leaders to understand the desired metrics and HR data reporting required across the organization. Provide support to the HR team in the areas of workforce metrics and ad hoc reporting. Troubleshoots HRIS data issues and offers guidance to staff when issues arise. Support implementation, upgrades, and changes according to business and HR needs. Ensure delivery, documentation and support of configuration and integration/interfaces for both new functionality and enhancements.
- Power BI: Creating and customizing dashboards, sharing dashboards, setting data alerts to help users proactively monitor important data.
- Advance Level XML: Integration, imports/exports, webservice, manage FTE file transfers.
- Data Expert: the go-to person for ad-hoc reporting, turn data into actionable insights that drive HR strategy. Develop and maintain standards and controls to ensure employee data integrity and compliance. Conduct regular system audits to ensure data quality and integrity. Generate reports that highlight efficiencies and areas for improvement. Focus on data analysis to spot trends, edge cases and exceptions to established data entry standards.
- Project Support: Assist in going live with our Global Dayforce implementation. Launching the Global implementation: from creating project plans to coordinating test plans and tracking milestones. Your organizational skills will shine!
- Tech Partner: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop tech solutions that streamline and automate HR processes. Your ideas will shape the future of HR at BlueLinx.
- Problem Solver: Serve as the escalation point for system issues, ensuring quick and effective resolutions. Provide necessary training to end users to increase their effectiveness and ability to use HR systems. Engage and consult with end users regularly to understand system issues and offer business solutions.
- Continuous Improver: Execute mass updates with precision, ensuring thorough validation before and after changes.
- Relationship Builder: Interact effectively with business leaders, team members, and staff at all levels to build and maintain positive relationships. Maintain partnerships with key stakeholders across the organization, providing stakeholders with regular reporting and analytics.
About You
- Bachelors’ degree in Human Resources will make you a standout candidate.
- 3+ years experience in HRIS system configuration and administration in Dayforce (Ceridian) HRIS. Bringing a solid understanding of HRIS database design, structure, functions, and processes.
- 3+ years experience working in an HR function such as HR Specialists, HR Manager, or other related HR role- bringing an understanding of HR functions, policies and procedures.
- Experience implementing global HRIS systems.
- Experience with and driven by continuous process improvement and efficiency.
- Analytical mindset with an ability to solution multiple alternatives
- Strong ability to analyze data to determine the answer, solution, or find the problem.
- Strong technical skills in data management administration
- Superior detail orientation, organization, and analytical skills
- Advanced Excel skills
- Polished written and verbal communication skills; able to communicate effectively with diverse people and individuals at various levels within the organization.
- Ability to operate effectively in a dynamic ecosystem with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work with highly confidential information and maintain
- Very strong working knowledge of HR processes, policies, and best practices, and how they relate to HRIS functionality and data.
- Significant experience implementing systems and integrating existing/new systems.

Pay: From $45.00 per hour
- 1099 contract
