Role Description
We are seeking a Help Desk Technician for a full-time, Remote position in Bowie, MD. In this role, you will serve as the first line of support for our clients, handling technical issues related to desktops, networks, and software systems. You’ll troubleshoot, resolve, and document IT problems while providing friendly, professional customer service. This position offers the opportunity to grow within a fast-paced MSP environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and related systems
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
- Manage help desk tickets and escalate complex issues when needed
- Perform computer repairs, installations, and system configurations
- Support end-users remotely
- Maintain accurate documentation of support activities
Qualifications
- Proven experience in technical support, help desk, or IT support roles
- Strong troubleshooting skills for Windows, macOS, and common business software
- Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routers, switches)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in an on-site environment
- Relevant certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, or ITIL) are a plus
