About the Role

We are seeking a Government Affairs and Policy Strategist to join our client’s global team. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring international political developments, assessing geopolitical risks, and advising senior leadership on policy shifts that could impact our global operations. You will bridge the gap between complex global affairs and actionable business intelligence, ensuring our company remains resilient and compliant in an evolving international landscape.


Key Responsibilities

Geopolitical Analysis: Monitor and analyze global political, social, and economic trends to identify potential risks and opportunities for the

company.

Project-based Research: Conduct deep-dive risk Assessment on specific policy themes (e.g., trade regulations, regional stability, diplomatic conflict, or legislative agenda) as assigned.

Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with external thought leaders, policy-makers, and industry associations.

Crisis Management: Provide real-time insights and strategic advice during geopolitical crises or sudden policy shifts to minimize operational disruption.

Trend Tracking: Maintain a proactive watch on major political milestones that could trigger market volatility.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, Political Science, Economics, or a relat

ed field.

Experience: At least three (3) years of professional experience (internships in relevant fields will be considered).

Skills: Exceptional research and writing skills with the ability to distill complex information into executive summaries.

Strong networking skills and the ability to navigate multi-cultural environments.

Proactive, intellectually curious, and able to remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation & Work Structure

Project-based Pay: Starting at $500 per project, with no upper limit. Compensation scales based on the project's complexity, urgency, and depth of research

required.

Onboarding & Trial Period: We implement a trial-project mechanism for all new advisors. The first two assignments serve as an evaluation period to ensure report formats and analytical depth meet our standards. *These trial projects are fully paid at the standard professional rate.

Long-term Opportunity: Successful completion of the initial projects will lead to a long-term partnership with consistent and steady project assignments.

Work Type: Part-time/Project-based/Independent Contractor.

Location: 100% Remote.

Flexibility: Work on your own schedule as long as project deadlines are met.
