This is a remote internship role for a Game Developer Intern specializing in Unreal or Unity. The intern will assist with the development of game features, create and maintain gameplay mechanics, and collaborate closely with the design team to transform concepts into interactive experiences. The role also involves programming and scripting within game engines, debugging and testing features, and learning best practices for game development. The position offers an opportunity to gain hands-on industry experience and contribute to cutting-edge projects in gaming and simulations.
- Proficiency in Game Programming and Gameplay Programming
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and general Programming concepts
- Knowledge of Game Design principles and mechanics
- Familiarity with popular game engines such as Unreal Engine or Unity
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and collaborate with a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn
- Experience in AR/VR development or AI-powered simulations is a plus
- Currently pursuing or completed a degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or a related field
