Role Description


We’re looking for a Frontend Engineer with strong expertise in desktop application development, especially for Windows and macOS environments. As part of our engineering team, you’ll take ownership of building fast, stable, and beautifully designed native-like desktop apps that interface with our AI systems. While desktop development is the core focus, you will also contribute to performance-driven web application interfaces and cross-platform user experiences.

You’ll work closely with our AI, backend, and design teams to create cutting-edge tools that redefine productivity in the workplace.

Key Responsibilities


  • Develop and maintain high-performance desktop applications using Electron.js, React Native for desktop, or similar frameworks.
  • Optimize UI/UX for Windows and macOS environments, ensuring responsiveness and smooth native behavior.
  • Build cross-platform frontend systems that interact with Node.js and Python backends.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to turn product designs and feature specs into production-ready experiences.
  • Identify bottlenecks and improve app startup time, resource efficiency, and platform consistency.
  • Contribute to web interface optimizations and feature extensions when needed.
Qualifications
Must-Haves:


  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, React.js, and Electron.js.
  • Experience building desktop apps for Windows/macOS using web-based technologies.
  • Familiarity with Node.js, inter-process communication, and background services.
  • Solid understanding of frontend architecture, performance tuning, and cross-platform UI behavior.
  • Basic understanding of Python or willingness to work with Python services.
Good-to-Have:


  • Experience with React Native for Desktop or Capacitor/Flutter Desktop.
  • Familiarity with native desktop packaging, installation flows, and OS-level integrations (e.g., tray icons, notifications).
  • Exposure to mobile development, web optimization, or DevOps tools for building/releasing cross-platform apps.
  • Prior experience contributing to early-stage product teams or startups.
