Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Freight Broker. The Freight Broker will be responsible for managing and coordinating the transportation of goods, negotiating rates with carriers, tracking shipments, and ensuring timely delivery. Daily tasks include building relationships with clients and carriers, troubleshooting and resolving transportation issues, and maintaining accurate records of all transactions. The role involves regular communication with clients and carriers to provide updates and address any concerns or queries.

Qualifications
  • Experience in freight brokerage, logistics, or transportation management
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and carriers
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Experience with transportation management systems (TMS) and tracking tools
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and remotely
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus
