The Sales Finance Manager will be responsible for supporting the sales team with financial insights, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis. This role requires a deep understanding of both sales processes and financial management, ensuring that sales strategies are financially sound and aligned with the company’s overall objectives.

This role is 100% remote in an approved US location/West Coast US.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage financial models to support sales forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning.
  • Monitor and analyze sales revenue, identify trends, and develop model to forecast sales revenue.
  • Create and maintain Power BI dashboards for the sales team, analyze sales performance against financial targets, and identify areas of improvement and growth opportunities.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, highlighting key metrics and performance indicators.
  • Collaborate closely with sales and finance teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with company policies. Facilitate communication between departments to align financial and sales strategies.
  • Identify financial risks and opportunities within the sales process and recommend corrective actions.
  • Analyze and control costs associated with sales and marketing operations.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve financial planning and analysis processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (finance, business, accounting or engineering); MBA/CPA preferred
  • 5+ years of related experience in financial planning and analysis supporting sales function
  • Proven ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Advanced skills in Power BI to develop real-time financial reporting and analysis
  • Strong proficiency in Excel (including financial modeling) and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to liaise between sales and finance teams.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • A strong process improvement focus, an interest in seeking out and eliminating root cause problems
  • Prior experience with OneStream is a plus.

At IDG we are committed to fair and equitable pay practices. We pay our employees equitably for their work, commensurate with their individual skills and experience. The expected total annual compensation, depending on location and experience, is between $137,000 and $157,000 and is inclusive of base salary and variable compensation (if applicable).Salary range and additional compensation, including discretionary bonuses and incentive pay, are determined by a rigorous review process. This process considers the experience, education, certifications, and skills required for the specific role, equity with similarly situated employees, as well as employer-verified US region-specific market data provided by an independent 3rd party partner.
