Electrical Engineer (Altium / KiCad)

Role: Electrical Engineer - Assessment Design

Location: Remote (India)

Responsibilities

  • Define foundational electrical engineering skills to be evaluated (circuit analysis, embedded interfaces, analog/digital design, power fundamentals).
  • Design schematic- and PCB-based assessment tasks using KiCad and Altium that reflect real electrical engineering workflows.
  • Structure multi-task assessments that can be dynamically provisioned and rendered from S3-hosted task bundles.
  • Design simulations involving circuit design, debugging, component selection, and system-level behavior.
  • Create deterministic scoring rubrics compatible with scoring architecture
  • Define electrical correctness criteria (connectivity, functional behavior, constraints, performance).
  • Review and label candidate submissions including schematics, PCB files, simulations, screenshots, and metadata blobs.
  • Collaborate with AI engineers to encode electrical reasoning into structured training labels.
  • Validate model scoring behavior against human judgment.

Requirements

  • Strong foundation in electrical engineering fundamentals.
  • Professional experience with KiCad or other ECAD tools.
  • Familiarity with PCB workflows and circuit simulation tools.
  • Experience designing or debugging real circuits.
  • Ability to formalize engineering judgment into deterministic evaluation rules.
  • Comfort working with structured data formats (JSON, metadata-driven workflows).
  • Strong written technical communication.
