We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Platform Engineer with strong DevOps expertise to design, build, and optimize our

Azure cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will focus on building reusable, secure, and scalable infrastructure using Bicep and Azure Verified Modules (AVM). You will drive the adoption of modern DevOps practices, improve platform reliability, and automate infrastructure provisioning.

• 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure and platform engineering, with 3+ years specifically in Azure.

• Hands-on Azure Experience: 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure and platform engineering, with 3+ years specifically in Azure.

• IaC Expertise: Strong proficiency in writing, reviewing, and maintaining Bicep templates.

• AVM Knowledge: Deep understanding of Azure Verified Modules (AVM) to create reusable, standardized building blocks.

• DevOps Tools: Expert in Azure DevOps (Boards, Repos, Pipelines).

• Azure Services: Strong knowledge of Azure Compute, Networking (VNets, ExpressRoute), Storage, and Identity.

• Scripting: Proficiency in PowerShell and/or Azure CLI.


Roles & Responsibilities

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) modules using Bicep and integrate them into the Azure Verified Modules (AVM) framework to ensure standardization.

• Platform Engineering: Build and maintain secure, scalable, and resilient Azure landing zones.

• CI/CD Pipeline Development: Design and implement automated CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions for infrastructure and application deployment.

• Governance & Security: Implement Azure Policies, RBAC, and governance frameworks to enforce security best practices.

• Automation: Utilize PowerShell or Azure CLI to automate routine tasks and optimize operational efficiency.

• Monitoring & Optimization: Monitor infrastructure health, performance, and cost optimization using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics.

• Collaboration: Work with developers to provide self-service tools, such as starter kits and templates.
