Job Summary:
We are seeking experienced Data Conversion Specialists to support a critical enterprise data migration initiative. The ideal candidates will have strong hands-on expertise in ETL/ELT processes, data modeling, and data transformation using tools and scripting in large-scale systems such as Salesforce, ServiceNow, and Oracle Fusion ERP. This role demands excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and top-notch communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Extraction: Identify and extract data from various legacy and source systems.
- Data Transformation: Convert and map data into the target format, including scripting and logic adjustments.
- Data Validation: Ensure data accuracy and completeness through validation techniques and reconciliation reports.
- Data Loading: Load clean and validated data into target systems or databases.
- Testing: Conduct conversion and system testing to verify data integrity and successful migration.
- Collaboration: Work closely with clients, business users, and project teams to ensure business needs are met.
- Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues during migration and post-load verification.
- Documentation: Maintain clear and thorough documentation of the data conversion process, tools, scripts, and best practices.
Required Skills & Experience:
- ETL/ELT Expertise: Strong knowledge of data pipelines and migration workflows.
- Data Modeling: Solid understanding of data structures, schemas, and entity relationships.
- Enterprise System Experience: Prior hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion ERP, Salesforce.com, and ServiceNow is a must.
- Database Scripting: Proficient in SQL and at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, Shell, PL/SQL).
- Data Validation: Experience implementing data accuracy and integrity checks.
- Migration Tools: Familiarity with migration utilities/tools to enterprise platforms.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills (must be 10/10).
- Reporting: Able to create dashboards, progress reports, and data statistics for business stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Proven ability to work with SMEs and technical teams to understand data and business requirements.
