Data Analyst, Government Department.

Remote / Midlands. Inside IR35.

Our client is looking for an experienced Data Analyst who has worked in Central Government / Public Sector environments to work on a brand new AI-focused project in a DDaT, Agile environment.

Data analysis expertise in this programme is needed to map the current use of data in the Department and consider options for improving first party data collection / analysis to support future marketing

In This Role, You Will Be Responsible For

Auditing the current use of data and develop future data strategy for the Client environment with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Audit of current data collection, quality, and usage, including compliance with GDPR and government standards
Mapping of AS-IS data collection and usage journey and applying statistical and analytical tools and techniques
Applying fundamental principles of data ethics and privacy, and share data ethics and privacy risks through appropriate channels
Recommendations for improvements to data collection, quality, and usage, including opportunities to increase capture of compliant first party data.

As well as a Data Analysis background in DDaT/GDS environments, you will need a good understanding of Python.
