Position Description:
We are seeking an experienced Customer Acceptance Tester (UAT / QA Analyst) to support end-to-end testing across enterprise applications in an Agile and DevOps environment. This role focuses on validating business requirements, executing test scenarios, identifying defects, and ensuring overall system quality. You will work closely with business owners, developers, and product teams to deliver user-ready solutions that meet functional and customer expectations.
This is a remote opportunity for detail-oriented testers who thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments and have a strong background in manual and automated testing.
Responsibilities:
- Execute test cases and provide ad hoc testing support throughout the SDLC
- Develop and execute test scenarios to validate functionality and business requirements
- Identify, document, and track defects; partner with developers to resolve issues
- Conduct user-story demos and present results to stakeholders
- Validate releases to ensure quality standards and acceptance criteria are met
- Perform testing in cloud environments (Azure preferred)
- Execute manual testing and support test automation using Selenium and UFT (VB Script)
- Create and maintain test documentation including test plans, scenarios, and scripts
- Use defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., HP ALM, VersionOne, Azure DevOps)
- Apply Agile and DevOps best practices to support continuous delivery and improvement
- Communicate clearly with Product Owners, Architects, Developers, and business teams
Required Skills / Education:
- 3+ years of experience in software testing or QA roles
- Hands-on experience with User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- At least 2+ years of testing in a cloud environment (Azure preferred)
- Strong knowledge of manual testing methodologies
- Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium and UFT (VB Script)
- Proficiency in defect tracking and test management tools (HP ALM, Jira, VersionOne, etc.)
- Solid understanding of the application development life cycle (SDLC)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
