What You’ll Do
Creative (Freelance)
We’re looking for a Freelance Creative who can transform strategic briefs into breakthrough ideas and polished executions across digital, social, and experiential channels. You’ll concept and craft work that feels native to each platform, pushes brands into culture, and drives real business impact—then partner with cross-functional teams to bring those ideas to life.
This freelance role is project-based and remote-friendly, with opportunities to plug into integrated campaigns, content programs, and rapid-response initiatives.
What You’ll Do
- Develop big ideas: Create campaign platforms, content series, and one-off concepts that are insight-driven, culturally aware, and adaptable across formats and channels.
- Craft content end-to-end: Write and help shape assets including social posts, short- and long-form video scripts, digital display, experiential concepts, and light web/CRM copy.
- Work from brief to execution: Interrogate briefs, ask sharp questions, and propose multiple creative territories that answer both the strategic ask and the consumer need.
- Collaborate across disciplines: Partner with strategists, art directors, designers, producers, and media teams to refine ideas, align on messaging, and ensure cohesive delivery.
- Design for platforms and formats: Tailor ideas and narratives for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X, emerging platforms, and paid placements—always considering thumb-stopping hooks and clear CTAs.
- Support production and post: Contribute to storyboards, shot lists, and moodboards; provide on-the-spot refinements during pre-pro, shoots, edits, and versioning.
- Present and sell ideas: Build clear, visually engaging concept decks and present your work to internal teams and clients, articulating the “why” behind each idea.
- Iterate based on data: Review performance results with analytics and media partners, identify creative learnings, and evolve concepts for better engagement and conversion.
- Stay culturally current: Track shifts in culture, platforms, and audience behavior to proactively propose new directions, reactive opportunities, and testable creative hypotheses.
- 1-3 years of experience in a creative role (agency, in-house brand team, studio, or freelance) with a focus on digital and social work.
- A portfolio that demonstrates strong conceptual thinking, clear storytelling, and executions that feel native to modern platforms.
- Proven ability to write in multiple voices and tones—from conversational and creator-friendly to elevated brand storytelling.
- Comfort working from loose or highly detailed briefs, and the ability to move quickly from rough concepts to refined scripts and copy.
- Experience collaborating with designers, editors, and producers, with a basic understanding of how ideas translate into production realities.
- Strong presentation skills and the ability to clearly explain your thinking, accept feedback, and iterate without losing the core idea.
- Fluency in Google Slides, Keynote, or PowerPoint and a knack for organizing ideas into clean, compelling decks.
- Reliable time management, responsiveness, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a freelance environment.
- A genuine interest in social platforms, creator economies, and emerging formats, with a habit of exploring and experimenting on your own.
