Content Research and Marketing Intern
Lockeroom Sports Consulting ("Lockeroom") invites you to apply for a Content Research and Marketing Intern position for Summer 2026.
Our Washington, D.C.-based company is an advisory firm that supports organizations navigating the evolving landscape of modern collegiate and professional sports. We offer unique regulatory, policy, business strategy, and organizational consulting expertise to clients throughout the country.
Our Lockeroom summer internship is compliant with the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). All interested applicants will understand this is an unpaid, temporary, remote position with no guarantee or promise of compensation or future employment with the company.
This is an exciting role through which you will receive real-world training to complement your current academic learning.
You will assist with conducting market research, developing content and promoting branding, standardizing documentation, and supporting business and outreach campaigns. Responsibilities may include analyzing federal and state government laws, regulations, and policies; producing research reports; contributing to content creation; and ensuring data and branding consistency. This role offers an opportunity to gain significant educational benefits through hands-on experience in the intersection of sports consulting, policy research, and marketing.
Lockeroom leadership will closely supervise, guide, support, and encourage you as you build new skills and apply your knowledge. You will be the primary beneficiary in this relationship, as you will work with a company executive with over two decades of experience who will personally mentor you throughout the summer.
This temporary, unpaid position is specifically intended to work within the requirements of your academic program and academic schedule, and will deliver you course credit when applicable.
