Content Creator and Writer

Refinery works with multiple VC funds and startups on their content and branding.

We are looking for a talented writer, and/or content creator with an interest in Venture Capital and Startups to create content on behalf of our clients.

We handle the systems and processes, as well as the raw materials. Your job is to create engaging and informative long form and short form content.

This is a good opportunity for an inside look at the VC/Startup industry, as well as learn a tonne about investing and startups.

Working style is totally flexible, all we care is that you are accountable and can work alongside us.

You will:

• Write and edit specialised content on venture capital for multiple platforms
• Newsletters, blogs, X posts, LinkedIn posts
• Keep track of market news / industry, and work with our team to bring VC's content to life
• Work with C-Suite to produce thought leadership content
• Research and write articles
• Help repurpose content from events, webinars, and other platforms

We also welcome part-time if you're working on your own startup or do other work

**Please only apply if**

• Can show a clear interest in VC/ Startups
• Can show content you have created
• Know how to write killer stuff for linkedin/blogs/newsletters/x
• Know and understand startups/VC - we can't teach this.

This is a paid contracting role, with the opportunity to come on board full-time down the line if things work out. Ideally begin month to month, and then we can talk about longer term if you're the right person!
