About Us
Tego is an early-stage startup launching a patented magnetic safety wall outlet designed to make homes safer, more accessible, and smarter. Our technology prevents tripping hazards, protects children, and empowers older adults and people with disabilities to live independently. We’re preparing to launch D2C via Shopify this winter and are looking for a creative content marketer to help us tell our story and grow our community.
Role Overview
We’re seeking a Part-Time Content Marketing Associate (10–15 hours/week) to lead the creation of engaging visual and written content for both paid ads and social media. This role will focus on generating compelling assets that boost awareness, drive conversions, and communicate Tego’s mission with clarity and creativity. You’ll collaborate closely with our Paid Ads Specialist and founding team to test, refine, and scale what resonates with our audience.
Key Responsibilities
- Create content for Meta, TikTok, and Google ads (short videos, graphics, captions, ad copy, etc.)
- Develop organic social media posts (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn) that build trust and brand awareness
- Collaborate with micro-influencers and UGC creators, helping to brief, review, and repurpose their content
- Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual style across all digital channels
- Plan and coordinate content calendars with our interns and VA team
- Test and iterate creative concepts based on performance feedback from paid campaigns
- Contribute campaign ideas targeting parents, older adults, and people with disabilities
- Support general marketing initiatives related to our upcoming product launch
What We’re Looking For
- Strong skills in content creation — short-form video, visuals, and copywriting
- Experience with social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Meta) and/or ad creative production
- Proficiency in Canva, CapCut, or similar tools (bonus: light video editing or animation experience)
- Understanding of what performs well in paid ads and how to tailor content for conversion
- Collaborative mindset — excited to work alongside an ads specialist and small, agile team
- Passion for storytelling and a desire to help bring an innovative safety product to life
- Startup energy: adaptable, proactive, and ready to experiment
