Location: Remote (Candidate should be in California)
Pay Rate: $20 – $21 per hour
Duration: 3 Months
Job Summary
The Compliance Coordinator is responsible for ensuring adherence to VA certification and re-certification requirements for network physicians. This role supports compliance efforts by auditing certification records, generating reports, tracking timelines, and communicating with providers and management to ensure timely completion of mandatory training and certifications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain administrative processes related to certification procedures to ensure compliance with VA requirements.
- Audit certification and re-certification records within the Learning Management System (LMS).
- Create and run reports, compare results against master files, and communicate findings to management.
- Produce daily, weekly, and monthly reports tracking course completion and certification status.
- Monitor upcoming certification expirations and notify providers of pending deadlines.
- Apply prescriptive compliance rules to ensure providers complete required recertifications and manage certification expiration cycles (every three years).
- Generate daily reports identifying providers with certifications nearing expiration.
- Organize and maintain training documentation and audit files.
- Provide timely updates and compliance summaries to management.
- Prepare documentation, reports, and supporting materials for certification audits.
- Respond to inquiries regarding certification status and escalate issues as appropriate.
- Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Education and Experience Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 0–1 year of administrative experience required
- Experience working with a Learning Management System (LMS) preferred
- Ability to successfully pass a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) background investigation.
