Role: Community Manager

Contract: Part-time Remote Contractor (15 hours weekly / 60 hours monthly)

Business Hours: Monday to Friday, flexible between 9 AM - 6 PM PST

Rate: $10 - $12 hourly / $600 - $720 monthly (Salary is negotiable based on experience and location)

What You'll Do

As the Community Manager, you will play a key role in cultivating engagement, managing communications, and enhancing the overall experience for our members. This position oversees CRM systems (HubSpot & TopBase) to ensure seamless member management, respond to inquiries, and create meaningful interactions. You will curate and manage community circles, lead new member onboarding and orientations, and organize high-impact virtual and in-person events. This role is essential in fostering a vibrant, supportive, and connected community. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the CRM systems (HubSpot & TopBase), ensuring data integrity and efficient member management.
  • Handling all communications with members, responding to queries and support tickets promptly, and engaging proactively to build strong relationships.
  • Developing and refining community circles based on members' needs and interests to maximize engagement and value.
  • Overseeing the new member onboarding process, ensuring a smooth and positive experience.
  • Leading bi-monthly or monthly member orientations, welcoming new members, and integrating them into the community.
  • Organizing and executing high-engagement virtual events, including workshops, fireside chats, coffee chats, and support groups.
  • Planning, coordinating, and executing in-person events, such as happy hours and networking opportunities.
  • Developing and managing bi-annual peer coaching programs, facilitating connections and professional growth within the community.
  • Responding to all emails and messages within one business day, ensuring professional, timely, and proactive communication.
  • Maintaining a fully organized inbox, aiming for inbox zero at the end of each workday to support efficiency and timely follow-ups.


What You Should Have

MUST HAVES:

  • Minimum five years of experience in Community Management or other relevant fields.
  • At least two years of remote work experience with U.S.-based clients.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills with a preference for a neutral North American accent.
  • Demonstrated ability to interact professionally and empathetically with community members, understanding their needs and providing responsive support.
  • Experience planning both virtual and in-person events.
  • Very organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
  • Outspoken and confident in leading discussions, confident in leading a group of strong, powerful Asian American women.
  • Strong writing and editing skills.
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable with digital tools.
  • Familiar with Canva or other essential photo editing tools.
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • High energy, a passion for interacting with people, and a commitment to caring for others.
  • Familiarity with Luma, HubSpot, Circle, Google Sheets, and Zapier would be a big plus!

NICE-TO-HAVES:

  • Experience with Female-focused Communities or Peer Coaching Programs.
  • Background in Community Growth Strategies.
  • Familiarity with managing IG & LinkedIn ads (scheduling, posting, and captions).
