Role: Commercial Director, UK Telehealth Clinic, Medical Cannabis (CBPMs)

Location: UK (remote)

Compensation: £90,000 base + up to £30,000 bonus (OTE £120,000)


The Opportunity

We are looking for a commercially astute, operationally rigorous Commercial Director who will act as the most senior in-country position in our UK operations. The Commercial Director will act as a leader, growth-minded and compliant, in the running of a CQC-registered telehealth clinic at a pivotal stage of its evolution.


This is not a market expansion or site-scaling role. This is about building and actively running a high-performing clinical throughput engine in a regulated telehealth environment - where marketing, clinical delivery, and medical operations operate in tight alignment, and every prescribing flow is audit-ready, efficient, and commercially sustainable.


The clinic has recently been acquired by a highly successful international telehealth group. This role has full accountability for stabilising, rebuilding, and optimising the UK operation - ensuring compliant growth, operational discipline, and sustainable profitability.

What You’ll Be Trusted To Do

You will own and actively run the clinical and commercial engine of the business. In your first year, you will:

  • Stabilise and professionalise the operation post-acquisition
  • Build a tightly aligned marketing-clinical-medops interlock that drives efficient patient acquisition and high-quality clinical delivery
  • Design and oversee an audit-ready prescribing flow, including renewals and repeat management
  • Optimise clinical throughput, consultation utilisation, and patient lifecycle value
  • Drive disciplined, commercially sound growth within regulatory guardrails
  • Restore and maintain regulator confidence while improving operational resilience
  • Build a high-performance culture with clear accountability across clinical and non-clinical teams


This is a hands-on leadership role. You will be close to the numbers, close to the flow, and close to the operational detail while setting clear strategic direction.


Who This Will Suit

You are likely already operating at senior level within telehealth, digital health, or another tightly regulated commercial environment.

This role will particularly suit someone with a strong commercial or general management background, rather than a purely hospital-based leadership profile. We are looking for someone who combines operational sharpness with financial discipline - a true business operator in healthcare.


You bring:

  • Proven and deep experience running or materially improving a regulated healthcare or telehealth business
  • Strong commercial instincts with demonstrable P&L ownership
  • Experience building and optimising operational systems (clinical flow, renewals, lifecycle management)
  • Confidence operating in highly regulated environments with audit exposure
  • The credibility to lead clinicians while driving performance and accountability
  • A calm, decisive leadership style with a bias toward action


Experience in medical cannabis or adjacent regulated sectors is advantageous, but not essential.
