Role Description

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Architect to join the Cloud Tender team. This full-time, remote role will be instrumental in designing and implementing robust cloud architectures tailored to meet diverse client needs.

As a Cloud Architect, you will lead projects in solution architecture, infrastructure design, system integration, and optimization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business goals, ensuring performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Architecture Design: Develop scalable and resilient cloud solutions tailored to business needs, utilizing Google Cloud Platform and related technologies.
System Integration: Lead the seamless integration of cloud systems with existing IT infrastructure and software applications.
Documentation and Standards: Maintain comprehensive documentation on cloud architectures, frameworks, and best practices to ensure security, compliance, and consistency.
Collaboration Across Teams: Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including DevOps, development teams, and clients, to ensure the successful delivery of cloud solutions.
Monitoring and Optimization: Manage cloud environments to maximize performance and minimize costs. Identify opportunities for improvement and implement automation where possible.
Cloud Migration: Oversee cloud migration projects, ensuring minimal disruption while maximizing business value.
Training and Mentorship: Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and training to both internal teams and clients.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience:

At least 5 years of experience designing and implementing cloud-based solutions, preferably with Google Cloud Platform.
Proficiency in cloud-native technologies, frameworks, and best practices.
Strong expertise in solution architecture, infrastructure design, and system optimization.
Demonstrated experience with software development and integration.
Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
Effective communication and collaboration abilities to work with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
Familiarity with Google technologies.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Relevant certifications in Google Cloud, Azure, or other multi-cloud platforms.
