Job Title: Change Management Specialist
Location: Edmonton, Alberta (Remote)
Duration: 12+ Months (Possible Extension)
Pay Rate: CAD 80-95/Hour
Must‑Have Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Professional Licenses / Certifications
- PROSCI or CCMP certification. (Mandate anyone)
- Public Sector Experience required
Work Experience
- 5+ years of experience developing and delivering communications and presentations at multiple levels of an organization (Executive Management, Management, Program Sponsors, Steering Committee, Branch Managers, End Users).
- 5+ years of experience developing and delivering training materials, including documentation, computer‑based training modules, and training videos.
- 5+ years of experience developing change management deliverables including Change Strategy and Plans, Training Strategy and Plans, Stakeholder Impact Assessments, Communication Strategy and Plans.
- 5+ years of experience in a change management role applying change management principles, methodologies, and tools for implementing change programs.
- 5+ years of experience leading and facilitating meetings with stakeholders at all levels.
- 5+ years of experience working with MS Project tools.
- 5+ years of familiarity and knowledge of change management related to data and digital projects.
Nice‑to‑Have Requirements
Work Experience
- 5+ years of experience managing projects in an organization of comparable size and complexity to the Government of Alberta (GoA).
- 2+ years of experience working in or for the public sector.
- 5+ years of experience with information management policies, directives, and guidelines.
- Experience working with the Alberta Children and Family Services Ministry.
