Role Description

This is a full-time remote opportunity for a Business Development Representative. The role involves finding and developing relationships with potential partners, managing a pipeline of prospects, and identifying opportunities to grow the Map Foundation's user base and partnership ecosystem. The role requires frequent communication with potential stakeholders, presenting Map Foundation's mission, and managing campaigns and outreach initiatives. In addition, you will work cross-functionally to share market insights that inform product development and strategy.

Qualifications
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills to engage with clients, partners, and stakeholders effectively
  • Sales, lead generation, and prospecting expertise to identify and nurture business opportunities
  • Experience in market research and understanding of community-driven initiatives or digital platforms
  • Proficiency in using CRM tools, productivity software, and digital communication platforms
  • Ability to work independently and in collaboration with diverse, remote teams
  • Prior experience with social enterprises, entrepreneurship, or non-profit organizations is a plus
  • Adaptability, problem-solving skills, and passion for community building and innovation
