Business Development Manager - Western USA


Job Description

Our company engineers and manufactures power transmission solutions using proprietary gear drive and braking technologies for industrial and mobile equipment worldwide. All products are designed and manufactured in the central United States, supporting a strong commitment to quality, reliability, and domestic manufacturing.. This role is a key contributor to the sales organization, responsible for driving revenue through disciplined, targeted selling and developing long-term customer relationships within an assigned territory.

In this position, you will identify and prioritize high-potential prospects, develop and execute data-driven sales strategies, and consistently work to meet or exceed revenue goals. A significant focus of the role is growing existing accounts by expanding share of wallet through upselling and cross-selling complementary lifting and equipment solutions. You will cultivate strong, trust-based relationships with end users, distributors, fleet managers, and other key decision-makers, positioning yourself as a knowledgeable and reliable advisor.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in business, engineering, marketing, or a related field (Mechanical Engineering aptitude highly desirable)

Minimum of 5 years of successful industrial outside sales experience

Proven ability to meet and exceed revenue targets

Strong CRM proficiency and data-driven sales approach

Excellent communication, relationship-building, and analytical skills

Self-motivated, accountable, and results-oriented

Able to travel up to 50% regionally

Work is 100% remote, but requires someone who lives near a major airport for ease of travel
