Position Summary:

We are seeking a mission-driven, highly motivated Business Development Intern (Volunteer) to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to gain real-world experience in nonprofit business development, strategic partnerships, fundraising, and grant research while contributing directly to CLTI’s mission of expanding access to career opportunities for underserved communities.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and research potential corporate, foundation, and nonprofit partners.
  • Assist with drafting partnership proposals, outreach emails, and presentations.
  • Support fundraising and donor cultivation efforts.
  • Research and track grant opportunities, deadlines, and application requirements.
  • Maintain and update partner and donor databases.
  • Collaborate with leadership on reports and presentations for funders and partners.
  • Participate in regular virtual team meetings and provide progress updates.

  • Prior experience in fundraising, sales, business development, or nonprofit work is a plus (but not required).
  • Students, recent graduates, or early-career professionals encouraged to apply.


Commitment:

  • Remote position.
  • Flexible schedule, ~20 hours per week.
  • 3-month commitment preferred.
