Position Overview

This is a contract, remote, ad-hoc/flexible, commission-based role for a Business Development Associate. This is not a full time role so maintaining another position in tandem is acceptable. We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Associate to market our training offerings (in the area of capture and proposal development) to government contracting organizations. This hands-on, execution-focused role requires an individual who can identify opportunities, engage with GovCon clients, and close deals. The ideal candidate has experience selling into the federal government/GovCon space, understands the federal procurement environment, and is highly self-motivated.


Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new opportunities for business to business (B2B) sales for training services.
  • Prioritize, call, meet, propose, and close new deals with GovCon clients.
  • Own the sales cycle-from prospecting to negotiation and contract closure.


Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in federal business development, account management, or sales.
  • Experience in Lead Generation and conducting Market Research
  • Excellent Communication skills for building professional relationships
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and a results-driven mindset
  • Proven track record of generating leads, closing deals, and meeting or exceeding sales targets.
