Business Analyst / Technical Writer (Compliance & Technical Documentation) – Immediate start – Outside IR35 £525 – Remote – ideally London based

We are seeking a Business Analyst with strong technical writing skills or a Technical Writer with solid analytical capability to support the creation of highly accurate, compliant documentation for regulated diagnostic products. Working closely with Product Managers, you will help define, structure, and document new instruments designed for use in diagnostic environments.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with Product Managers to document requirements for new diagnostic instruments
Produce clear, accurate, and compliant technical documentation
Conduct structured interviews and ask the right questions to extract detailed product and process information
Ensure documentation aligns with regulatory standards and internal compliance frameworks
Review, validate, and refine content to maintain accuracy, traceability, and audit readiness
Support knowledge transfer during handover and throughout the project lifecycle

Skills & Experience Required

Proven experience as a Business Analyst, Technical Writer, or hybrid role
Strong attention to detail and exceptional documentation accuracy
Confident in asking probing questions and extracting information from SMEs
Previous experience within life sciences, diagnostics, medical devices, or cyber compliance is a must
Ability to work autonomously and manage documentation workflows in a regulated environment
Familiarity with compliance-driven processes and documentation standards
