Job Title: AWS Cloud Architect/ AWS Expert

Location: Remote (Freelancer)

Experience: 2-3 years in Cloud Architecture and AWS

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Guru with deep expertise in designing, deploying, and managing scalable cloud infrastructures on Amazon Web Services (AWS). You’ll be responsible for architecting secure, high-performance cloud solutions and guiding our engineering teams on AWS best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and implement highly available, fault-tolerant, and scalable cloud architectures using AWS services.

2. Migrate on-premises applications and data to AWS cloud.

3. Optimize cloud environments for cost, performance, and security.

4. Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.

5. Automate cloud infrastructure provisioning and CI/CD pipelines.

6. Monitor AWS environments using tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Grafana.

7. Enforce AWS security best practices (IAM, VPC, encryption, security groups, etc.).

8. Collaborate with DevOps, Development, and Security teams to align architecture with business goals.

9. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.

Must-Have Skills:

1. Deep expertise in AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, CloudFormation, ECS/EKS, etc.)

2. Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / CloudFormation)

Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, or PowerShell)

3. Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline)

4. Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes on AWS)

5. Strong understanding of networking concepts and security practices

AWS Certifications (at least Solutions Architect Associate; Professional preferred)

Good to Have:

Experience with multi-cloud/hybrid cloud environments

Familiarity with DevSecOps principles

Experience in cost monitoring and optimization (AWS Cost Explorer, Trusted Advisor)

Knowledge of serverless architecture patterns

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
