$175-225k Base + 20% Bonus

Newly created AVP of Operations position reporting directly to executive leadership. The organization is a healthcare-focused insurance platform supporting sizable healthcare systems and operating in a lean, data-driven environment.

Ideal for someone with:

8–10+ years of insurance operations experience
Healthcare insurance strongly preferred
Captive insurance, risk management, or insurance internal audit backgrounds welcome
Experience supporting ERM frameworks and regulatory compliance
Strong cross-functional leadership and influencing skills
Comfortable in a lean, roll-up-your-sleeves environment

In this role, you will:

Lead enterprise operational planning and annual alignment with Finance
Develop KPI dashboards and executive reporting frameworks
Own Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) workflows
Oversee operational components of external audits
Formalize and document processes currently held as institutional knowledge
Evaluate new initiatives and answer:
Can we take this on?
What teams are impacted?
What are the resource implications?
Lead PMO and Corporate Services (2 direct reports)

This is not a pure strategy role. It is not a back-office reporting role. It is a hands-on enterprise operations leadership mandate.
