Position Overview
Our healthcare client is advancing its digital ecosystem to better serve members at scale. This role is for someone early in their CXD career looking to learn more from a larger organization. They should be very hungry to be detail oriented. They will be working from existing design flows, making improvements/enhancements/optimizations. As a Conversation Designer - Optimizations, you will play a critical role in elevating the quality, efficiency, and reliability of existing IVR and chat experiences. This role focuses on optimization rather than net-new design, applying conversation design best practices with rigor and precision to improve how experiences perform in production.
This position is fully remote, through the end of 2026.
Key Responsibilities
- Improve end to end IVR and chat experiences by identifying and closing quality and experience gaps
- Increase efficiency within complex conversational flows to reduce friction, misrouting, and failure states
- Strengthen consistency and reliability across experiences through disciplined application of conversation design principles
- Enable successful engineering implementation by producing clear, accurate, and maintainable technical documentation
- Support scalable, compliant, and member-centered conversational systems
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in conversation design, conversational UX, IVR, chatbots, or content design
- Strong understanding of conversation design principles and how they apply to production systems
- Exceptional attention to detail and comfort working within established standards
- Ability to analyze existing experiences and identify opportunities for improvement
- Experience creating clear, structured documentation for technical audiences
- Comfort collaborating closely with engineers and senior designers
