Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (No Overtime)
Interview Process: 1 Virtual Video Interview (Hiring Manager + Possible Team Member)
Contract Duration: 18 Months
Position Overview
We are seeking a Design Liaison Engineer to support a Gas Power engineering team. This role is responsible for managing, substantiating, and executing critical engineering drawing changes and related technical tasks. The ideal candidate will provide technical guidance, ensure compliance with internal engineering processes, and deliver high-quality results within defined timelines.
Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and execute engineering drawing changes and technical tasks with accuracy and urgency
- Provide technical and project management support for engineering activities
- Troubleshoot and resolve engineering-related issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project completion
- Apply knowledge of design and manufacturing principles to improve processes
- Drive cost reduction, defect reduction, and overall product quality improvements
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical and/or Aerospace Engineering
- Demonstrated project management, teamwork, and communication skills
- Strong commitment to quality and continuous improvement
- Proficiency with PLM systems, NX/UG, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the Gas Turbine industry
- Prior experience supporting large-scale power or energy engineering environments
