This is a remote contract role for an Alternative Proteins & Fermentation Scientist, specializing in R&D and innovation consulting. The role involves designing and executing experiments related to alternative proteins and fermentation processes, analyzing data, and providing insights to drive product development. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, developing technical reports, and advising clients on innovative biotechnological solutions tailored to their needs.
- Expertise in Alternative Proteins and Fermentation Technologies, including process optimization and production methods
- Strong R&D skills, encompassing experimental design, data analysis, and documentation
- Experience in Biotechnology, Food Science, or related fields
- Proficiency in project management and collaboration with diverse teams
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and critical-thinking abilities
- Ph.D. or Master's degree in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Food Science, or a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of industry trends and regulatory considerations in alternative protein development is a plus
