We’re partnering with a fast-scaling, product-led technology organization operating in a sector closely aligned with ecommerce and digital marketplace platforms. This team is building AI-native product experiences that directly impact revenue, automation, and customer engagement.

They are hiring an AI Product Engineer — a hybrid builder who thinks like a product owner and codes like an engineer. Someone who can move fast, ship AI-enabled features into production, and optimize real business outcomes.

This is a hands-on, high-ownership role.

🎯 The Role

As an AI Product Engineer, you will design, build, and iterate on AI-driven product features end-to-end. You’ll sit at the intersection of product, engineering, and applied AI — turning ideas into live, scalable systems.

You should be deeply comfortable in modern web architecture (TypeScript, React, Node, AWS, Next.js) and fluent in today’s AI tools — LLMs, agents, RAG pipelines, workflow automation, and optimization tooling.

This role is ideal for someone who:

Understands ecommerce ecosystems and digital commerce flows
Thinks in terms of experimentation and optimization
Ships quickly and measures impact
Is hands-on with AI tooling, not just directing it

🧠 What We’re Looking For

Core Requirements

• 5+ years in software engineering with strong product exposure

• Experience building in ecommerce or similar transaction-based environments

• Expert-level TypeScript proficiency

• Strong experience with React and Next.js

• Backend experience in Node.js

• Experience deploying and scaling systems in AWS

• Hands-on fluency with modern AI tools (LLMs, prompt engineering, embeddings, RAG, AI agents)

• Experience shipping AI features into production

Nice to Have

• Experience optimizing conversion funnels through experimentation

• Exposure to ML evaluation frameworks

• Startup or high-growth company experience
