  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts.

Account Direction & Operational Excellence

  • Lead day-to-day account management and serve as the central link between clients, senior management, and account teams.
  • Allocate resources, guide workflow, and drive productivity and quality across project work.
  • Supervise and mentor an Account Supervisor and broader team members.
  • Act as senior editor on all written and produced materials.
  • Oversee budget management, financial reporting, and forecasting.

New Business & Agency Growth

  • Participate in identifying prospects and leading RFI/RFP responses.
  • Conduct and direct research to inform strategic recommendations.
  • Shape compelling, insight-driven presentations that showcase the agency’s capabilities.
  • Contribute to the development of marketing collateral and internal strategic initiatives.
  • Share insights on opportunities, risks, and agency health with leadership.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Foster a culture of creativity, strategic thinking, and excellence in client service.
  • Provide clear, constructive feedback and assign growth-oriented responsibilities.
  • Address performance challenges proactively and collaboratively.
  • Model strong process management, including financial and operational discipline.

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, journalism, or related field.
  • 6–7 years of PR experience, ideally with healthcare exposure.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat and strong command of social media strategy.
  • Proven success managing client accounts, supervising teams, and overseeing budgets.
  • Someone who is detail-oriented, collaborative, and energized by guiding teams and driving meaningful client outcomes.
