Remote Academic Content Specialist Role

Accountabilities

  • Create and update course shells in the LMS according to universal design standards.
  • Consult on LMS capabilities and collaborate with stakeholders on course development.
  • Independently manage the curriculum feedback ticketing system.
  • Ensure course catalog compliance with clarity and formatting standards.
  • Review content for alignment with Quality Matters standards.

Requirements

  • HTML/coding experience.
  • Degree or certification in educational technology, instructional design, or a related field.
  • Experience in professional or academic editing/proofreading.
  • Strong communication skills with various stakeholders.
  • Ability to report on data and manage multiple projects independently.
  • Knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with Adobe Suite and/or Learning Management Systems.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
