Salary: up to 2,200 AUD / Month (Final offer will be based on the client’s assessment, as well as your experience and background)

The client is a creative design and build studio that specialises in custom exhibition stands, event displays, retail pop-up activations, and shop fit-outs. They work with both global and local brands to create bold, immersive environments that enhance brand presence. Their projects range from international trade shows and large-scale activations to boutique retail installations, blending concept, craftsmanship, and technology to bring brand stories to life through engaging physical experiences.
Role Overview:
We are on the hunt for a talented and versatile 3D Concept Designer / VFX Artist who thrives in visualising environments across the physical brand experience spectrum — including custom exhibition stands, event spaces, retail pop-ups, and shop fit-outs. You’ll be responsible for crafting high-end 3D visualisations and motion content that capture the atmosphere, function, and design detail of our concepts.This role sits at the intersection of design and storytelling — you’ll take loose ideas or client briefs and develop them into engaging, cinematic 3D presentations that excite clients and guide our internal teams toward execution.
Key Responsibilities:
3D Spatial Design & Visualisation
- Design and develop 3D concepts for branded environments, focusing on exhibitions, events, retail activations, and shop fit-outs.
- Create stunning 3D renders, immersive spatial layouts, and design visualisations for pitches and presentations.
- Explore creative treatments that reflect brand identity, audience engagement, and activation goals.
Motion Graphics & VFX
- Produce animated flythroughs, cinematic visualisations, and lighting/VFX-enhanced sequences that simulate real-world interactions.
- Create dynamic presentation videos that bring to life crowd movement, lighting atmosphere, product displays, AV integration, and overall brand vibe.
- Use animation and effects to elevate the storytelling of physical spaces in digital format.
Creative Collaboration
- Work closely with the Creative Director, Producers, and Design team to interpret briefs and propose visual directions.
- Participate in creative brainstorming, mood boarding, and ideation sessions.
- Contribute to pitch decks and client presentations with strong visual assets.
Production Support
- Prepare visuals that inform build, construction, and fabrication teams — ensuring design intent is clear and detailed.
- Collaborate with technical designers and drafts people to bridge creative vision with production feasibility.
Requirements
- 3+ years in 3D design, architectural visualisation, motion graphics, or VFX, ideally within exhibitions, events, or retail environments.
- Strong portfolio of spatial visualisation work.
- Proficiency in 3D Studio Max and AutoCAD
- 3D Rendering experience with Corona and Vray
- Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Strong understanding of spatial layout, lighting, branding, and storytelling.
Bonus Skills
- Experience with Unreal Engine or Unity.
- Familiarity with fabrication and construction processes.
- Knowledge of retail merchandising or trade show logistics.
