Overview

We are hiring 2D Artist/Animation Intern to support the creation and preparation of 2D visual assets for our mobile app. You will work closely with David, who leads the animation side, to help finalize the remaining assets and prepare them for Unity integration. This is an excellent opportunity for a digital art student looking to gain hands-on experience with mobile game pipelines and character customization systems.


Responsibilities

Art & Animation Tasks:

• Use Photoshop or Illustrator to create 2D assets including hair, clothing, and backgrounds (primarily for male avatars)

• Create sprite sheets and ensure compatibility with Unity

• Optimize all assets for mobile performance

• Organize layered files (hair, clothes, etc.) for sprite-swapping functionality

• Prepare visuals for integration and animation within Unity.


Soft Skills

• Work collaboratively with developers and other creative departments

• Maintain a consistent visual art style throughout all assets

• Prepare assets that support inclusive avatar designs (both male and female)

• Follow direction closely and contribute to a smooth art pipeline


Important Notes

• Your work will feed directly into the sprite layering and customization system within the mobile app

• Role is ideal for students with an interest in game art, animation, or visual development for mobile platforms


Internship Details

• Type: Unpaid Internship

• Length: 3–6 months

• Hours: 10–20 per week

• Format: Remote & flexible
