Queer & Trans-Affirming Associate Therapist- 100% Remote - Washington State Residents

Location: 100% Remote (Washington State Residents Only)

Position: Starts part time with the expectation of maintaining a full-time caseload (25+ clients weekly) within 6 months of employment

We are specifically looking for someone who is prepared to specialize in working with:

  • Transmasculine and nonbinary teens and adults across the lifespan
  • Neurodivergent clients who deserve to be understood, not “fixed”
  • Trauma survivors reclaiming their narratives
  • Polyamorous, ethically non-monogamous, and kink communities
  • Medicaid and commercial insurance clients who may otherwise struggle to find affirming care in-network


The Work You’ll Do

  • Provide compassionate, client-centered therapy for individuals
  • Conduct intakes and assessments that honor clients’ cultural contexts and family systems, not just a diagnosis
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation
  • Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors in a supportive environment


What We’re Looking For

  • Current Washington State associate license (not pending)
  • Strong interest in working with LGBTQ+ clients with an understanding of affirmative therapy
  • Excitement for continuous learning, with growth across modalities (e.g., ACT, Somatic, Brainspotting, IFS)
  • Availability to see 25+ clients per week


Compensation & Admin Support

  • Clinical (billable): $43/hour for associates (increase after 6 months)
  • Administrative (non-billable): $22/hour
  • All billing and credentialing with insurance, including Medicaid, handled for you


Supervision & Growth

  • Paid licensure supervision (LMHC, LICSW, PMH-C)
  • Fully paid Brainspotting Phase 1 training (optional)
  • Case-by-case reimbursement for optional trainings
  • Opportunity to remain with the practice after licensure
