QA Engineer (Remote)

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain manual and automated tests for web, mobile, and backend applications.
- Create and manage test scenarios, data, and documentation across the full SDLC.
- Collaborate closely with developers, architects, and stakeholders to ensure high testability and clear requirements.
- Execute functional, regression, and ad-hoc testing, identifying root causes of issues and tracking resolutions.
- Implement automated testing within CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliability and scalability.
- Advocate for QA best practices and contribute to improving testing frameworks and standards.
- Participate in design and use-case reviews, providing input on architecture and quality assurance strategies.
- 5+ years of professional QA experience in web, backend, or mobile application testing.
- Strong background in manual testing and test automation using tools such as Playwright, Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, or TestCafe.
- Experience testing REST APIs using Postman or similar tools.
- Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
- Solid understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and Agile development environments.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
- Exposure to BDD frameworks and modern test design patterns.
- Experience with data validation, mining, and analysis on large datasets.
- Background in fintech or cryptocurrency applications is a plus.
