A global chemical company is seeking a Technical & Production Manager to lead polyurethane business growth and operational performance across North America.

This is a high-impact role responsible for driving technical service, manufacturing coordination, supply chain management, marketing strategy, and revenue performance within the polyurethane portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the technical lead for polyurethane systems, supporting formulation development, lab/plant trials, and customer troubleshooting
Collaborate with global R&D to tailor products for automotive and other key applications
Oversee toll manufacturing, raw material sourcing, supply planning, and regulatory compliance
Drive new business development through market analysis, customer engagement, and industry representation
Manage revenue, pricing strategy, cost control, and margin improvement initiatives
Develop and execute mid-term strategic plans and annual budgets aligned with corporate objectives

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
10+ years of experience in polyurethane system formulation
5+ years of sales and/or marketing experience in the polymer, plastics, or chemical industry
Experience working with automotive industry customers preferred
Strong background in technical service and customer-facing roles
Experience managing toll manufacturing and supply chain coordination
Demonstrated success in business growth and profitability management
Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
