Accountabilities
- Perform hands-on ECAD design for complex circuit card assemblies
- Serve as final checker and authority on ECAD designs for quality compliance
- Lead design reviews and provide expert guidance on various design aspects
- Mentor junior designers and engineers to elevate design standards
- Develop and improve ECAD design standards and documentation processes
- Interface with various teams to resolve design and process issues
- Provide leadership in the implementation and optimization of ECAD tools
- Support ECAD quality initiatives and continuous improvement efforts
- AA/AS degree with a minimum of 10 years relevant experience
- U.S. citizenship required
- 6+ years of experience with PCB layout using ECAD tools
- Strong communication skills across all organization levels
- Experience with complex PCB designs and manufacturing processes
- Ability to mentor and lead design initiatives
- Knowledge of ECAD documentation and configuration management
