Accountabilities
- Set the vision and direction for enterprise ontologies and business glossaries.
- Lead development of canonical data models and domain models.
- Drive alignment of ontologies with enterprise strategy and operational needs.
- Serve as the principal authority for metadata and business glossary standards.
- Oversee enhancement of metadata quality through governance processes.
- Partner with stakeholders to embed business information architecture into strategic products.
- Champion the adoption of shared business definitions across teams.
- Establish enterprise standards for ontology modeling and metadata taxonomy.
- Lead the evolution of data governance frameworks in partnership with stakeholders.
- Identify and resolve inconsistencies in data definitions and business rules.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Data Management, Business, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in information architecture or data governance.
- Mastery of enterprise metadata management tools (e.g. Collibra, Alation).
- Proven experience in governing ontologies and semantic frameworks.
- Expert understanding of data governance principles and data quality.
- Ability to translate complex business concepts into structured information models.
