About the Role

A leading AI research initiative is recruiting Investment Banking Experts to collaborate on a high-impact project aimed at training and benchmarking advanced large language models (LLMs) for real-world financial reasoning and analysis.

This is a unique opportunity to apply your investment banking expertise toward developing AI systems that think, reason, and analyze like financial professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and refine AI-generated financial models, pitch decks, and company analyses.
  • Draft and assess investment memos, transaction summaries, and valuation materials.
  • Provide structured feedback on the clarity, rigor, and analytical depth of model outputs.
  • Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers to enhance the model’s understanding of financial reasoning.
  • Identify gaps and ensure outputs reflect real-world accuracy, logic, and strategic insight.

Ideal Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience at a top-tier investment bank or financial advisory firm.
  • Proven background in financial modeling, valuation, M&A, or capital markets.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills with high attention to detail.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial analysis tools.
  • Familiarity with AI tools or LLMs (a plus but not required).
  • Based in the U.S., U.K., Canada, Europe, or Australia.

Project Timeline

  • Start Date: October (rolling applications)
  • Duration: Minimum 4 weeks, with potential for long-term extension or rotation to future projects
  • Commitment: ~10 hours/week (fully flexible)
  • Schedule: Fully remote and asynchronous — work around your own schedule

Compensation & Contract

  • Rate: $130/hour (top performers may receive higher rates)
  • Contract Type: Independent contractor (at-will)
  • Payments: Weekly via Stripe Connect, based on logged hours
