Ray of Light Wellness LLC is an online mental health company dedicated to providing effective, accessible, and affordable mental health counseling and other wellness services. Our company will be launching a new virtual wellness shop this summer. We are searching for talented professionals from various backgrounds to teach a variety of unique courses.


Role Description

This is a 1099 contracted, remote role for a Creative Writing Teacher interested in a freelance position to earn passive income. This position is flexible. Teachers can choose to offer only one course once a week or multiple. Teachers determine the length of the courses (for example 7 weeks or 8 weeks, etc). The teacher determines limit of virtual class size and also determines how to price the course(s). Ray of Light Wellness LLC will market the teacher, establish the teacher with students and virtual platforms. This is a collaborative project between freelance professionals and our company to promote wellness and spread it to the general public. The teacher in this role gets 70% of profit, Ray of Light Wellness gets 30% for its contribution. This is an opportunity to gain professional online visibility. Our company currently has over 8k followers on Instagram. This is also an opportunity for teaching professionals to earn passive income.


The primary responsibilities of this position includes creating a course curriculum, leading virtual creative writing courses, and fostering a supportive and inclusive learning virtual space. The teacher will guide students in developing their writing skills and provide constructive feedback to help them improve.


Qualifications

  • Proficiency in lesson planning and the ability to design engaging and effective course materials
  • Strong skills in teaching and education with experience in guiding students of diverse backgrounds
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective student engagement
  • Experience in training and mentoring individuals in creative or educational contexts
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • At least a Bachelor’s degree in Education, Creative Writing, English, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
  • Previous experience in teaching creative writing is highly desirable
